ERA 40mm High Security Nightlatch in Matt Black Finish - 1830-10-1

British Standard High Security Nightlatch provides maximal security to replace most existing front door locks. Automatic deadlocking prevents the extended bolt being retracted by a credit card. Once the door is closed it cannot be opened from the outside without a key.

This 40mm narrow version is suited to doors with glazed panels that require a narrow depth lock to avoid removing timber close to the glazed area of the door. See picture 2 for more detailed measurements.

• Supplied in 40mm backset options, this is a narrow lock more commonly used with glazed panel doors.
• Conforms to British Standard 3621:2007. Meets the requirements of insurance companies and police.
• Particularly suitable for glass panelled doors, as the handle can be deadlocked offering additional security against forced entry.
• High security integral cylinder pull protects the cylinder from being drilled.
• Supplied with 3 cut keys. Cylinder has over 30,000 cut key variations.
• Main lock bolt “automatically” deadlocks, this makes the use of credit card to force entry virtually impossible.
