The DIN Fire Escape Lock is part of the ZDL range by ZOO Hardware.

A heavy-duty DIN standard lock case engineered for high volume commercial use where product durability and lifespan are a key consideration. DIN locks can also be used in domestic applications where a modern urban look is being achieved.

This fire escape lock is designed for use with a Euro profile cylinder and turn where by when the door is in the locked position, simply depressing the door handle lever from the inside of a room retracts the deadbolt for easy exit. This meets the building requirements for exit of fire doors that require locking to prevent access from the outside (e.g., flat entrance doors, fire exit doors etc). When the door is locked, the door cannot be opened from the outside without the use of a key.

• Supplied with rounded (Radius) faceplate and frame striker plates for use with routered or CNC machined doors.
• This product is suitable for use on FD30/60 fire doors when used in conjunction with an intumescent. Please see related products below.
